I too met Chris at Sport Chek. She made me smile and laugh everyday. I truly loved her. Chris and Scott became great friends, I met the love of my life through Chris and Scott. We are both grateful for the time that we had spent with Chris. I cried and cried. Our hearts goes out to Scott, Ray, Kendra and Mitchel. Rest in peace our dear ole friend… Sandee and Dion

I have known Chris since 1984 - we met at Sport Chek, where we both worked at the time. I remember her wedding day well…when she went from CAB to CAR. I remember each of her kids being born (Chris was such a great mom, I learned A LOT from her). She loved Scott and her kids and her friends and family without limits. May she rest in eternal peace.

Our paths crossed when Christine worked at McDonalds for a brief period of time and once and a while after that. She was a wonderful soul and I am glad to have met her. Sending my sincerest condolences, hugs, and prayers.
With a heavy heart,

Chris always had kind words for me whenever I saw her. She always let me know she was proud of how far I've come and reassured me my efforts weren't in vain. While I'll always be eternally grateful for her lifting me up, my fondest memory of her is a recent one. A conversation about what makes someone "cool". While I sat on her kitchen floor filling the air with fanciful ideas, she simply sat and thought. After a few minutes, likely when I ran out of air, she looked up and summarized everything I had said much more eloquently and succinctly. She said "being cool is putting yourself first, without arrogance". While that might seem simple, there is a lot hiding under the surface of those words. They were exactly what I needed to hear, and I'll do my best to always abide by them. As long as I do, I'll know I'm making her proud. It comforts me to know she's still with us as long as we hold on to our memories of her.
Chris, while we'll all surely miss you, I know we'll join you on even greater adventures one day... Oh and everyone make sure to eat lots of good snacks, it would make her happy.

A few earlier pictures. She was such a sweet little girl who turned into a beautiful woman.
Sending our deepest condolences and love.
