Obituary of Dorothy Elaine (Bulmer) Rowe

It is with great sadness that the family of Dorothy Elaine (Bulmer) Rowe announces her passing on Saturday, December 30, 2023. Dorothy passed away peacefully at her home in Sackville with her daughter by her side.

Born in Sackville, NB on March 6, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Marjorie (Kilcup) and Burton Wyse Bulmer.

A graduate of Sackville High School and of Mount Allison Commercial College, Dorothy worked for many years as a bookkeeper. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family, and she will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Dorothy will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Patty Rowe, of Sackville, NB; her sons, Martin R. Rowe (Sherri) of Shediac, NB and Brent Rowe (Tracy) of Irishtown, NB; her grandchildren, Ashley, Jonathan, Brooke and Blake; her great-grandchildren, Brynn and Kara, as well as by many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Besides her parents, she was pre-deceased by her husband, Martin Thomas Rowe; her sisters, Anne Milton and infant Pauline, as well as by her brothers, James, George, William, Herman, Benson and Roy.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Erin Campbell and staff of Campbell’s Funeral Home, Sackville (506) 364-8188. In keeping with Dorothy’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visiting hours or funeral service.  Dorothy will be buried in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens in the spring.
