My wife Peggy and I first met Keith in 2011 at a dealership in Amherst. My wife dragged me to Amherst after hearing a cute radio ad for the dealership. I was reluctant to go and was not in the very best of moods when a giant of a man approached our vehicle. This man had a smile on his face and must have noted my grumpy and less than ecstatic mood when I opened the driver's window of our car. With prompting from my wife, I reluctantly agreed to go inside the dealership with the two of them to discuss a potential new car purchase. Keith was the consumate gentleman and his friendly disposition won me over within minutes of sitting down with him. Within an hour my wife and I purchased a brand new car from Keith! But the story of our relationship went on from that moment and it was one that my wife and I treasured over the years. Keith and I would always have a chuckle over the entire event whenever we got together and he was quick to point out the initial grumpy face of this potential buyer. The bond of friendship was cemented from the moment we met and we had great times golfing together and on occasion having a breakfast together when he came to Moncton. The most important feature of our friend was his immense faith in God and the strength he drew from his relationship with his church. Laurie, we hope this tribute will in some small way bring a smile to your face as Keith's presence in our lives always brought smiles for the two of us. We will miss a dear friend. We have made a donation to the Moncton hospital in memory of Keith. Rick and Peggy Bohus, Moncton.

I first met Keith and Laurie when I moved to Sackville for university. This was a big move for me, as I left all my family and friends behind half a country away. Keith was quick to notice my struggles with this separation, and quickly took me under his wing. Keith and Laurie “adopted” me, and played a key role in my life. Keith had a big heart for university students, and poured his time and energy into ministering to them; I am immensely blessed to be one of the recipients of his love and care. You have left a big hole in this world, my very dear friend. And while I am grieving your loss now, I am so glad that I will see you again in heaven. My heartfelt care goes out to you, Laurie!

So sorry to hear of Keith's passing.
I played on the soccer team with him at Bethany Bible College in the fall of 1980 and 1981.
I remember him as a man of grace, sometimes misunderstood, even mistreated by staff and students, but always with a ready smile, a steady faith, and a desire to learn.

Well.. HUGS.. yup that's where i first remember meeting keith at my moms funeral in 06. He hugged most of us,, but my sister mary , she wasn't the hugger.. but keith tried many times.. We kept in touch being close with Erin. and would hug or say Hi anytime we'd see each other.. until covid and cancer hit in 2019, not just him but peter. he was out for a drive by my place i was out for a walk destressing,, and there was keith. we couldn't hug. but talked and cried! he was one of my rocks even through his fight with cancer,, he helped me more than he knew,, but i think it helped us both. i'll keep on hugging to those who hurt. Pass on your legacy of hugging, i'll even give my sister mary a hug from you lol. Laurie. need anything, i'm there. HUGS.

Keith was a true friend and support for me. Coming to MtA was a big adjustment for me but Keith was a constant source of wisdom and guidance. He was always waiting for me with open arms for our weekly van ride to church on Sundays. Laurie and Keith opened their homes and their lives to many students and I am forever grateful. Keith will be very much missed here on earth but I take comfort in knowing he is with the Lord whom he served faithfully.
