I'm so incredibly sorry to hear this. I worked with Rhoda at the Sackville Legion from 2003-2006 and we kept in touch afterwards. She was such a special person-- she was kind, generous of spirit, and had one of the world's all-time great laughs. I loved her a lot, and I'll miss her.
Sending her family all my best wishes-- she spoke of you all with such delight and pride.

Our sincerest condolences on the loss of Rhoda. Byron and I met Rhoda during our recent visit to New Brunswick when we visited his Mom who shared the hospital room with Rhoda. Her beautiful smile and interest in our being from Newfoundland and concern about our travel certainly spoke to the warm and kind person she was. May your many beautiful memories bring you comfort.

Rhoda was a delightful lady, always with a big smile. We had supper together at Patterson's one day after we had both lost the love of our loves and did a lot of reminiscing. Good for the soul. Tanya, as a child, I remember your grandfather, Charlie, coming to the house many times for a visit. He would be on duty and just happen to drop in! Actually, he was hoping to get a feed of my great grandmother's homemade beans and brown bread and it usually happened! They were long-time friends from when they lived way up on the Aboushagan Road. Memories help and I'm sure you have lots of them. She always talked very proudly of you any time I saw here. God bless.

Tanya, Mike, Mom (Pauline) and to all whom were closest to my Aunt Rhoda, prayers and support go out as this resilient and special lady leaves her earthly place among us! What a huge space is left in her absence! We all need a Rhoda in our life as she could keep us on track by her very good memory and her take charge ways! Rhoda was a wonderful neighbour to my late Mom, Doreen, and then to us when we became her neighbour. We will miss her telephone calls..."just checking" on us, or to say " I am being picked up and going out for supper, my car is there but I am not so don't worry" . Rhoda will be missed, David & Wayne.
