Dear David, Brenda, Robert and Sandra - I have such great childhood memories of spending a lot of time at Aunt Edith and Uncle Howard’s home. They were both always kind to me and Aunt Edith even claimed to enjoy my ‘help’ in the kitchen when she was baking. One time when we were decorating a cake, I dropped a handful of the silver candy ‘ball bearings’ we were placing on the icing, and of course they rolled everywhere across the kitchen floor. LOL. Aunt Edith didn’t make a fuss or scold me - we just gathered them up for the garbage can and then carried on with our decorating. Best cake ever!
Please know that you and your families are in my thoughts as you mourn. Love, Sylvia

Robert and David, My condolences on the passing of Aunt Edith. I remember when I was very little living next door and going to aunt Edith’s and uncle Howard’s garden and “stealing” the fresh peas and carrots. It was a wonderful childhood having aunts and uncles and grandparents living so close.

Robert and David, we send our condolences to you and your families. I can still remember the benefits of having so many cousins living close by when we were kids, like the daily summertime routine of us all going from our place to Aunt Marjorie's to Aunt Edith's for Kool-aid and cookies. I will always have fond memories of your mom.

To cousins Robert and David and their families ... Aunt Edith was a huge part of my early life because I spent so much of that time with David. Many fond memories come to mind when I think of those long-ago days. She lived a long life, but it's still sad to know she is no longer with us. Percy and I send our sincere condolences for your loss. xo

My sincere condolences to her Family. I have many fond memories of Edith. It seems she was always a part of our family. She and Mom would be up to something! She had a kind heart and a sharp wit. Wonderful characteristics. Rest in Peace, Edith. God bless.

My deepest sympathies to David and Robert and your families. While not technically my Aunt, she was my Grannie's (Rhoda Kilcup's) best friend and, to me she was Aunt Edith for all of my life. I have so many fond memories of her and of Uncle Howard. The smiles, hugs, laughter that was shared will always be remembered. I hope you are able to find some comfort in your memories, and in knowing that she is with her beloved Howard again.
