I was so lucky to have gotten to meet Bill and his lovely family during our time together at the Drew.
Really enjoyed the many conversations I was able to have with Bill and the friendships formed with Ruth as well as the children during their visits. Bill was such an intelligent & gifted man, who lead a very full and rewarding life,I know his family will cherish the many wonderful memories they have with him to help with this loss.

Dear Ruth and family, I am sad to hear of Bill’s passing and offer my sincere condolences. At the same time I feel so grateful that I got to know Bill during my time working at Sackville UC. He was a welcome visitor to the office, and he appreciated the dish of Werther’s candy that was always ready for him. We enjoyed wonderful conversations, about nothing in particular and everything in general. Every now and then he would treat me to a verse or two of a song in his native tongue. What a delight for me! I looked back into my pictures feeling sure I had one taken during my “farewell coffee party” at the church before I retired from the office. Bill almost looks as if he is singing…or ready to.
May your days of grief be gentle and wrapped in your many warm memories of life with Bill. Most sincerely, Marilyn

I have known Bill for more than 20 years and I was saddened by his passing. Bill was a member of the Westcumb Amateur Radio Club as well as President of the Old Timers Radio Club with callsign VE9UH. I knew Bill in both capacities. Bill was instrumental in bringing in more members to the Old Timers and I was one of those - thank you Bill. I offer my heart-felt sympathy to Ruth and the other family members at this time of loss. Rest in Peace, my friend.
