Carol and family, sending our sympathy to you all. Ryan, Sarah and I have fond memories of Doug, back in the Frosty Hollow Farm days. He was often around tending the horses and offering kind support to Grampie Red around the farm, helping keep an eye on things. One rarely saw Doug without a smile.

I know his last few years were difficult for all and now at least he can rest. I remember his laugh and his jokes. How full of life he was. I remember the adults sitting around the table playing cards while us kids ran around. He was such a hard worker. Hope he is having a drink with Mike in Heaven and laughing down at us.

So sorry to learn of Doug's passing. He was such a big part of my youth athletics, first with Hockey and then later Football at TRHS. I have many fond memories of my years playing hockey at Allison Gardens and Doug was often there as coach, trainer/first aid and cheerleader. He was very generous with his volunteer time for the youth of Sackville. My heart goes out to Carol, Wayne and Greg during this sad time. My condolences to family and friends.
