Donna and I were sad to hear of Aunt Irene's passing and send our condolences. I will miss the visits at the cottage and home in Indian Point and Sackville always. She was always supportive of us in our endeavours and was Donna's babysitter when Mom and Dad needed some help and I would go to another aunt down the street. Married to two Read boys from Baie Verte, they would laugh sometimes about marrying these two handsome guys and became lifetime friends as well as sisters-in-law.

I didn't know Irene very long but she was a kind, gentle and funny lady. She loved her family that was clear. I loved the pictures of her with all the great- grandchildren. Condolences to her family, especially Lacey and Rheed. I'm sure you have many memories of Mom and Nana, and you will feel her there at family gatherings.
