Obituary of Veronica May (Estabrooks) Dobson
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Veronica May Dobson on Tuesday, April 28, 2020 at the Moncton Hospital at the age of 56. Veronica passed away peacefully, with her husband and daughter by her side.
Born in Sackville, NB on May 3, 1963, she was the daughter of the late Alder Trueman Estabrooks and Clara Alberta (Kay).
Veronica loved going on road trips with her husband Brian, enjoyed being outside, working on their camp, bonfires and relaxing in the pool and on the deck. She greatly enjoyed her job at the Superstore in Amherst, NS and always looked forward to talking with her regular customers.
Veronica will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 38 years, Brian Dobson; her daughter, Jacklyn (Korey) Price; her sister, Nancy (Don) Crossman; her brothers, Roger (Linda) Estabrooks, Timothy Estabrooks, Peter (Debbie) Estabrooks and Paul (Charlotte) Estabrooks; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends, as well as by her grand puppies, Miss Hera, Zeta and the late Rosie.
Besides her parents, Veronica was pre-deceased by her sisters, Olga, Josephine and Bonnie, as well as by her brother, Daniel.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville N.B. (506) 364-8188. Visiting hours will take place at the funeral home on Sunday, October 18, 2020 from 2-5 pm. In keeping with the new public health guidelines, masks will be required. We ask for your patience when you arrive as we currently are limited to 10 people in the building at one time during the orange level in our zone.
