Dear Bill, Diane, Christine, Susan & Peter,
We are so sad to hear of Betty's passing. Missed seeing Betty at the Rug Hooker's gathering in Riverview but had not heard that she had health issues. Time passes by much too quickly and we seem to lose contact with so many dear friends.
I have so many great memories of time shared with Betty. We worked together with Brownies in West Riverview, she certainly taught me a great deal about working with children and shared leadership with other adults. Betty also invited me to join her Neighbourhood Bible Study group where I met many other lovely ladies who became lifelong friends.
So sorry that I couldn't come visit with you at this time but what you to know that we are thinking of all of you with love and prayers that God will bless you and your families with many fond memories of happier times to help ease the pain of sadness during these difficult days and give you comfort in the future as you continue on life's journey without your loved one.
Betty was a beautiful person, had so many talents that she shared with everyone and was so dedicated to everything that she was involved in. She will certainly be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. I am sure she is already involved in many activities in her heavenly Home but she will make time to keep a very close watch on all of you and continue to be with you in spirit in good times and in sad times.
In Betty's memory, a donation will be made to the Dr. Sheldon Rubin Oncology Clinic.

To Bill, and to Diane, Christine, Susan and your families
It has been a very special privilege to meet with Elizabeth and her wonderful family. My own life has been greatly enriched by meeting and getting to know Elizabeth and you, her family. It was a pleasant surprise for Elizabeth and I when we discovered the "Junction Howe" connection.
She has shown remarkable courage during her challenging fight with cancer. Her character and determination has been an inspiration to all of us. Her faith in Jesus has been very real and transparent and it has been an honour to have had the opportunity to share and discuss God's Word with her.
I know that she will be so dearly missed by you and all those who have been privileged to know her.
May the love of Jesus surround you and hold you! May His grace sustain you and may Elizabeth's life continue to

Bill and family, we have known Betty since the early '70's when we attended the same church in Riverview. We are saddened that she had to go through this illness but happy she is now in a better place. We enjoyed being in her presence so very much, always such a positive, happy, caring and thoughtful person. Dale always teased her about looking like one of his sisters. She was just a great lady, and we have missed her so much at antique car events this past couple of years, and will miss her until we see her again.
