I'm very sorry we can't be there in person to grieve with you, but Grandma always believed that love could cross the miles. Her faith and her love were so strong that she felt we could be far apart but still together.
I will miss her strength, her faith and her deep and abiding love for her family. Grandma was the Center we all gathered around. I will miss the feeling of togetherness we all shared in her presence. Grandma loved all of us very much, despite--or maybe because of--our faults and imperfections.
As much as I will miss her, it is selfish of me to want her to stay. She has gone to a better place, and I will always be grateful that she went there peacefully, gently and lovingly. She lived her life as she wanted, with dignity and grace until the end. Now, I will do my best to follow her example.
Love,
Arienne, Neil and Bradley
