My memories at Mount A of Don always bring a smile to my face because that's the way he was all the time. I can't remember any time he didn't have a sweet smile on his face. He was such a "teddy bear" !

I had the privilege of knowing Don while growing up in Sackville. I was then lucky enough to see him while his wife resided at the home. He was so kind and thoughtful-always asking about my parents. His love and dedication to his wife Lorraine was evident. Even after her death he would pop in for a visit. We loved seeing him. His stay with us was brief as his health continued to decline . He will be missed. My thoughts are with his loving family.

To all the Driscoll family:
I was so sorry to hear about Don's passing. He was one of the great guys in the 80s that I got the chance to work with at Mount Allison for many years. Our sincere condolences go out to you all. Your funeral service for him was heartfelt and wonderful...it represented and captured him so well as the loving father and person that he was.
Hugs to you all.

Mr. Driscoll was a very big part of my teen years. He and Chef Rene were a big influence. And I have nothing but fond memories of my time at Jennings Hall with him, Chef and Billy, and you too Stephen. Mr. Driscoll had a great sense of humour and one of the kindest hearts! My world was made better because he was in it. I was blessed that he and Lorraine were able to share my wedding day with me, and I got to visit them at the cottage a few times over the years. I am very saddened to hear that he is gone but I am very grateful that I have such great memories. My thoughts are with you all at this sad time.

I had the privilege of working for Don for two years when I was at Mount Allison in the mid-80’s. He was a good trainer, had our backs 100%, and had a sense of humour that could knock you off of your chair when you least expected it. He was a man that I was proud to call a friend while I was there, and in the years that followed. Rest in peace, Don.

My deepest condolences to The Driscoll family. Don was a great man and a great friend to my father and our family. We loved the weekly visits even after we lost dad which he continued until he just couldn't manage any longer.
I hope Don and my father are together again with other loved ones we have lost. May they all be happy, fishing, golfing, partying and whatever they want to do until we see them again.
Loved Don like a second father.
