Dear Catherine
I was sad to hear about the passing of Ross. Please accept my condolences to you and your family. It is difficult to believe that he is gone. He will certainly be remembered by me.
Ross gave me strategic advice on how to deal with management, unions and employees that made my transition to the job of EAP Coordinator very very smooth.
Ross was a real gentlemen and often spoke of you and what you meant to him. You made a great couple.
Sincerely
Charles

As a couple, you were an inspiration when he was Mayor of Dorchester and I know that you contributed enormously to the vitality of this remarkable village. As your family doctor, we shared much and your strength was enduring then as I pray it is now. Blessings and love, Dr. Marilyn Trenholme

I wish to extend our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Ross Monk. He has been an inspiration to me and many others in the Village of Dorchester and has earned great respect of the people.
Ross was one of the first people I met when I first moved to the area in 1993 on the golf course and I think he was still involved with Council in Dorchester. Then when we eventually bought a house in Dorchester in 1996, I remember him telling me that we had made the right choice.
I eventually joined council in 1998 and Ross was already retired from Council but his legacy was still present. When I first became Mayor in the Village, he would often see me at Tim Hortons in Sackville and ask me how the Village was getting along and if he should come give me a hand, usually quite jokingly with a smile and a laugh.
He will be missed by all that knew him and never forgotten for the work he did for the Village of Dorchester as the Mayor.
Respectfully;
JJ (Jerome) Bear
Mayor
Village of Dorchester
