Obituary of Olive Faye Lewis

It is with deep sadness that the family of Olive Faye Lewis must announce her passing on Saturday, December 14, 2024. Olive passed away at the age of 69 at The Moncton Hospital.

Born on May 14, 1955 in Sackville, NB, she was the daughter of the late Edgar Munroe Lewis and Lorena Lucy (Hicks).

Olive loved going on Rockport tours and she enjoyed music in all forms, dancing and karaoke. She also enjoyed doing word searches and watching tv with no volume. Olive will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew and loved her.

Olive will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Lisa Jane (Brad); her two grandsons, Aaron and Jake; her brother, Aubrey Lewis (Charlotte); her sisters, Diana Milner (Hanford), Debbie Lewis (Robert), Donna Smith, Cathy Estabrooks (Mack), Charlene Wells (Kevin), Loretta Weir (Don), Nancy Landry (Kevin) and Susan “Flora” Watson (Jim); her half-brother, Doug Lewis; her half-sister, Bernice Gautreau, as well as by her aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Edna Phinney and Janice Smith; her two half-sisters, Connie Arseneau and Erma Mills, as well as by her brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles and extended family.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Erin Campbell and staff of Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville N.B. (506) 364-8188. Visiting hours to celebrate Olive’s life will take place at Campbell’s Funeral Home on Sunday, December 22, 2024 from 1-4 pm and all are invited to attend to spend some time and share memories.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Olive may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
