We were saddened to read of Ove's passing in the Telegraph Journal. Our relationship with him, as our lawyer. was more recent but he was a wealth of information and a very caring individual. We are sending our sincere sympathy to his family and staff.

Sending our condolences Pat & Family. Ove was such a kind man , I missed him when he closed his practice down it was so much fun to chat with him and Sandra. There where many times he gave me advice and wouldn’t even charge me for it.

I was saddened to hear of Ove’s passing. He was such a kind man and a gentleman. I had a lot of dealings with Ove when I worked for the Bank and he was always professional but warm. Dear Pat and family,
I always enjoyed a chat with Ove when we bumped into each other in town. He was always such a gentle and thoughtful person, a pleasure to know and talk to. I know too, that way back Wylie enjoyed his presence and counsel on the District 14 school board, when there was a local board! Ove always was determined to be kind and fair. Ove has been such a part of the fabric of Sackville and will be missed in so many ways, by so many people and organizations. My sincere condolences to you and your family.

I first met Ove while I was articling with Peter Belliveau, at a lobster supper. Ove was presented with an award for being a member of the law society for 50 years.
When asked if he would retire, he stated something along thelines of "now that I dont have to pay my fees, I wont retire". I didnt have the privilege of knowing him for long, but he was a comical, down to earth person, always willing to help anyone in need.
Deepest condolences to the family. Ove was very much loved.
