Obituary of Gloria Ethel Estabrooks
It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Gloria Ethel Estabrooks, 76, at her home in Sackville, NB on May 11, 2024.
Gloria was born on November 6, 1947 in Sackville, NB to the late Leroy and Evelyn (Briggs) Throop.
Besides her parents, Gloria is predeceased by her beloved son Kevin, her brother Roy Lohnes and her husband Roland Estabrooks.
She is survived by her life partner, David Baughan; two sisters, Dale (Dale) Cove and Linda Hicks; two brothers, Wendall (Bonnie) Throop and William Throop; sister-in-law, Sharon (Roy) Lohnes; step-daughters, Alisha (Ralston) Armour and Natasha (Billy) Patterson; step-grandchildren, Emily, William and Jacob; nieces, Natasha, Naomi and Sheri, as well as by her nephews Noah and Craig.
Gloria worked at the Royal Bank in Sackville for 37 years. She enjoyed travelling in their fifth wheel to bluegrass festivals as well as travelling across Canada, clogging, playing cards and spending several winters in Florida. She will be fondly remembered for her love of life, unwavering strength and kindness to everyone. Gloria will be deeply missed by all of those who knew and loved her.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Erin Campbell and staff of Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville N.B. (506) 364-8188. In honouring Gloria’s final wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Interment will take place at a later date in the Point de Bute Cemetery. Please join us in celebrating Gloria's life on Sunday, June 9, 2024 with a reception for family and friends at the St. Mark's Anglican Church Hall in Mount Whatley between 2:30 and 4:30 pm. 59 Mount Whatley Loop Road, Aulac, NB
