Obituary of Shelley Lynn (Arseneault) Ward
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Shelley Lynn Ward on Thursday, February 29, 2024 at the Sackville Memorial Hospital. Shelley passed away at the age of 50, following a short but brave battle with cancer, with her loving family by her side.
Born on April 19, 1973 in Amherst, NS, she was the daughter of the late Dorothy and Sheldon Arseneault.
Shelley had the most beautiful smile that would light up a room, she never got angry and she always took the time to listen and talk to people. Shelley loved her cats and children and being involved in any type of children’s programs at the church or elsewhere. She was a member of the Middle Sackville Baptist Church where she loved to be and where she was involved with many things. Shelley especially cherished her husband Keith, and her son, Logan who will miss her so much. She was so proud of Logan and the young man he is becoming. Shelley was a guardian angel to Keith and was always by his side for any of his business ventures and other things with which he was involved. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Shelley will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Keith Ward; her son, Logan Ward; her three step-children, Wayne Ward, Julia Gallant and Olivia Ward; her mother-in-law, Sandra Ayer; her aunt, Sandy Stiles; her good friends, Maria Hicks and Angie Gould, as well as by many friends.
Keith and Logan would like to thank Angie Gould and Wendy Alder for their friendship, help and for their fundraising efforts. A special thank you to their Church family as well as to all of their friends and people from Sackville who supported them during this difficult time. Your kindness will never be forgotten.
