My condolences to the Hallett family. I didn't know Elisabeth but we were close in age and in some way related. I am a Hallett, the Granddaughter of Merle Hallett and Vera Sleep Hallett. If any cousins would care to contact me I would be delighted, channinghuhn@gmail.com living in Easton, MD. Not sure this website will allow my email address to be posted. Elisabeth bears a strong family resemblance to my first cousin, Cindy Hallett of Pownal, ME. Maybe Elisabeth will bring us closer.

Elisabeth has been a trusted friend of ours since our young years in Prince George BC 1978. Over the years we have maintained contact and shared in the loss of her partner Barb and the loss of my spouse Gordon Grover. We shared some fun filled life experiences as well as life challenges including profound grief. Our last in person visit happened in 2019 and thank goodness for that.
Elisabeth was a private intelligent individual who gave of herself in countless ways, never pretentious she was authentic and lived life on her own terms. I regret that this awful disease has claimed another appreciated and loved person. I am thankful for our friendship and I will miss her. Rest in peace dear friend.

So sorry to hear the sad news of Elisabeth’s passing. I met Elisabeth when she joined as a Volunteer at the Sackville Hospital Gift Shop, She was always available to fill in if we needed her for an extra shift as well as being on our regular schedule. Not only was she a volunteer at the Shop she also looked after the Food Bank box that is there faithfully picking up the items and delivering them.
She certainly will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. May all your wonderful memories help you through the days ahead.

Elisabeth has been my close friend for half a century, since our Prince George days, and I feel lucky to be able to claim that friendship. She was a complicated person: intelligent, kind, funny, intuitive, and let's not forget stubborn and independent. I was so sorry for Barb's illness and passing and now for the loss of Elisabeth after terminal illness. My life will be diminished without her. I hope to see her again when my soul moves on to whatever is planned next for us. When I think of Elisabeth, these lines from a Bob Dylan song come to mind:
I'll see you in the sky above
In the tall grass in the ones I love
You're going to make me lonesome when you go
Condolences to all.

I met Elisabeth and Barb years ago. Elisabeth was a very caring and kind person which I witnessed in her care of Barb during her illness. I have missed her walking her little dog in the waterfowl park these past few months. I hope that family and friends will share stories and memories of Elisabeth and it will give them some comfort during this difficult time.

Elisabeth was a stalwart at the Food Bank and brought a refreshing matter-of-factness to our discussions around the Board table. My condolences to members of her family. She will be missed.
