Obituary of William Lionel Pauley

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of William Lionel Pauley on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at the Moncton Hospital. William passed away at the age of 65 with his loving family by his side.

Born on March 24, 1958 in Sackville, NB, he was the son of Ray William Pauley and Joan Irene (Trenholm) Pauley.

William was an avid hunter and enjoyed being outside. He was a hockey fan and loved betting on the Leaf’s with his mother and taking all of her money. William will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

William will be lovingly remembered by his mother and father, Ray and Joan Pauley; his daughters, Shelby (Corey) McDonald and Cassidy Pauley; his sister, Patti (Doug) Trenholm; his grandchildren, Emmett and Maddix McDonald; his grand dog, Odin; his niece, Alysha Trenholm (Blair Tingley); his nephew, Brandon (Shauna) Trenholm, as well as by his great nephews, Benjamin and Brooks, as well as by his great niece, Nora.

William was pre-deceased by his paternal grandparents, William and Lila Pauley, as well as by his maternal grandparents, Lionel and Daisy (Burns) Trenholm.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Erin Campbell and staff of Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville NB (506)364-8188. In keeping with William’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visiting hours or funeral services.

If so desired, memorial donations in memory of William may be made to Duck’s Unlimited, Atlantic Wildlife Institute, a local animal shelter of your choosing or to the charity of one’s choice.
