Obituary of David Reginald Gould

David Reginald Gould passed away at the age of 71 years at the Sackville Memorial Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, on Thursday, June 29, 2023.

 

Born on April 14, 1952, in Sackville, NB, he was the son of Peggy Denise (Bourque) Gould and the late Joseph Reginald Gould.

 

David will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 50 years, Cheryl (Maxwell) Gould; his daughter, Allison Gould (Gilles Godin); his son, Marc (Jennifer) Gould; his beloved mother, Peggy Gould; his siblings, Joan (Stephen) Richardson, Judy Gionet (late George), Henry (Cynthia) Gould, John (Kathie) Gould, Carol (Russell) Sears and Jill (Ray) Legere; his two granddaughters, Kaitlin (Corey) MacDonald and Aleah Manson Gould; his four step-grandchildren, Brody Richard LeBlanc, Meghan Richard LeBlanc, Dax Godin and Maelle Godin; one great-granddaughter, Brady Lynn MacDonald; his father-in-law, Irvin Maxwell; his sisters-in-law, Beth and Leigh Ann, as well as by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

 

David was pre-deceased by his father, Joe Gould in 2005; his brother, Jim Gould in 2018, as well as by his sister, Nancy Gallen in 2020.

 

David’s family wishes to thank the many doctors, nurses and the staff of Brunswick Unit at the Sackville Memorial Hospital for their compassion and professionalism. Your kindness was very much appreciated.

 

Arrangements have been entrusted to Erin Campbell and staff of Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, N.B. (364-8188). Visiting hours will take place at the funeral home, on Saturday, July 22, 2023 from 2-4 pm. Following the visitation, you are invited to join the family at the Painted Pony restaurant in Sackville, to raise a toast and share memories of David.
