Obituary of Yvonne Marie (Richard) White

It is with great sadness that the family of Yvonne Marie White, announces her passing at the Drew Nursing Home on Monday, March 6, 2023.  Yvonne passed away with her loving family by her side at the age of 91.   

Yvonne was born in LeBlanc Office, Westmorland County on August 14, 1931 and was the daughter of the late Regina (Leger) and Albenie Richard. 

Yvonne will be lovingly remembered by her children, Ronald (Ann) White, Noral “Mickey” (Nancy) White, May (Robert) Trenholm and Carol (Kevin) Bezanson; her four sisters, Emily LeBlanc, Delia Burke, Albenia Landry and Aline Beal; her grandchildren, Nicole Anderson, Christopher (Amanda) Anderson, Giselle Bezanson (Nicholas Wigglesworth), Isaac Bezanson (Kaleigh McLeod), Shannon (John) Bridges, Ryan White (Diane), Tyler (Michelle) White , Becky Trenholm (Derek Cooper) and Amanda Trenholm; her great-grandchildren, Emily Anderson, James Hicks, Bo Bridges, Duke Bridges, Haley Neves, Isabella Blakney, Abagail Blakney and Brody Blakney; her sister-in-law, Carolyn (Sears) LeBlanc, as well by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Besides her parents, she was pre-deceased by her husband, Thomas White in 1993; her brother, Valerie Richard in 2000; an infant brother, Donald Richard, as well as by her brothers-in-law, Fred LeBlanc, Edmund LeBlanc, Henry Burke, Edgar Landry and Gordon Beal.

Yvonne’s family wishes to send a heartfelt thank you to the staff of the Drew Nursing Home for their wonderful care and the kindness shown to Yvonne while she was a resident there. Thank you does not describe the gratitude they have for their thoughtfulness.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Erin Campbell and staff of Campbell’s Funeral Home, Sackville (506) 364-8188. Visiting hours will take place at the funeral home on Thursday, March 9, 2023 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, March 10, 2023 at 11 am at St. Vincent’s Catholic Church, Sackville N.B., Father Charles Broderick officiating.  A reception will immediately follow Mass and all are welcome to attend. Interment will take place in the spring in the Holy Rosary Cemetery. 

If so desired, donations in memory of Yvonne may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or to the charity of one’s choice.
