Obituary of Arthur Alexander Hubert
It is with great sadness that we must announce the passing of Arthur A. Hubert, on Monday, January 30, 2023 at the Sackville Memorial Hospital. Art passed away at the age of 78, with his loving family by his side.
Born on January 2, 1945 in Sackville, NB, he was the son of the late Beatrice Davene (Holmes) and Charles Edward Hubert.
Art was an amazing man who had a great sense of humour. He was a hard worker and enjoyed tinkering in the garage and fixing anything he could get his hands on. Art will be greatly missed by his family and all of those who knew and loved him.
Art will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 50 years, Anne (Cormier) Hubert; his son, Larry (Tracy) Chapman; his daughter, Corinne (Rick) Snowdon; his step-daughter, Linda McGraw; his brothers, Charles (Anne) Hubert, Blair (Diane) Hubert, James (Linda) Hubert; his sister, Charlene Hubert; his grandchildren, Zackary Chapman, Jackson Chapman (Maressa), Samantha Chapman (Greg), Riley Chapman, Carrie-Ann (Jason) Wheeler, Earl Snowdon, Alex Snowdon (Stacy Jones), Jeffrey Snowdon (Crystal), Josette (Carlis) Coulter, Jennifer Smith (Steve) and Steven McGraw (Juday); his 14 great-grandchildren; his one great-great-granddaughter; his one great-great-great-grandson, as well as by several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Besides his parents, Art was pre-deceased by his brothers, Bruce Hubert and Brian Hubert.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Erin Campbell and staff of Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville NB. Visiting hours will take place at the funeral home on Friday, February 3, 2023 from 1 to 2 PM. At 2 PM the funeral service will take place with Father Charles Broderick officiating. A reception will take place at the funeral home following the service.
