Obituary of Brian Knapp Estabrooks
On Saturday, December 3, 2022, Brian Knapp Estabrooks parked his last vehicle. Born on October 13th, 1941 (Midgic), Brian grew to love cars. He was an auto mechanic for much of his life and inspired his siblings and grandson to share his love of working on cars. He may have also encouraged them to put the ‘pedal to the metal’ on more than one occasion.
Affectionately known as ‘Ampie’ by his grandchildren, Brian loved his family deeply, and never gave up an opportunity to use his wit and humour to make others laugh. He will be lovingly missed by his wife, Jean (McLeod); daughter, Natalie (Fred) Crossman; grandchildren, Kathryn (Long) and Greg (Stacey); his siblings, Manuel (Margie), Sandra, Crandell, Duane (Sally), Dana (Marilyn), Leland (Donna), Kevin (Janice) and many nieces and nephews.
Brian was predeceased by his parents, Knapp and Lottie, as well as by his brother, Maurice.
Brian’s family would like to send a sincere thank you to the staff at the Drew Nursing Home, who quickly became members of Brian’s family. We are so grateful to the love and support from all those who cared for Brian.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Erin Campbell and staff of Campbell’s Funeral Home. In keeping with Brian’s wishes, there will be a family graveside service.
Donations in Brian’s memory may be made to the Drew Nursing Home.
On-line condolences and sharing of memories may be forwarded to the family through our website www.campbellsfuneralhome.com or by visiting the funeral home Facebook page.
