Obituary of Karen Bertha (Noiles) Leger

It is with great sadness that the family of Karen Leger announces her passing at The Moncton Hospital on Thursday, October 27, 2022.  Karen passed away at the age of 59, with her family by her side.

Born on January 30, 1963 in Sackville, NB, she was the daughter of the late Audrey Lorraine (Phinney) Noiles and Chester Havelock Noiles.

Karen enjoyed travelling down south, camping, as well as playing bingo and cards with her family and friends. She attended many dances at the Memramcook Legion and was the #1 fan of the Memramcook Valley League Hockey team. Karen took great pride in her nieces and nephews and loved them as if they were her own children. She was well known as a jokester but she had a heart as big as the outdoors and she will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.

Karen will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 32 years, Henri Emile Leger; her sister, Marlene (Jim) Edmonds; her brother, Randy (Cecile) Noiles; her nine nieces and nephews; her fifteen great-nieces and nephews; her four great-great nieces and nephews, as well as by her aunts, Joan Alder, Marg Beal, Kay Ward and Carol Phinney.

Besides her parents, she was pre-deceased by her brothers, Raymond Noiles in 1997 and Brian Noiles in 2005.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Erin Campbell and staff of Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville N.B. (506) 364-8188. Visiting hours will take place at the funeral home on Sunday, October 30, 2022 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Monday, October 31, 2022 at 1 pm with Rev. Lloyd Bruce officiating. The burial will follow in the Midgic Cemetery.

If so desired, donations in memory of Karen may be made to the family to assist with the service expenses. These donations may be given at the funeral home and a receipt will be provided.
