Obituary of Norman Ross Pedersen

It is with great sadness and heaviness of heart that the Pedersen family announces the tragic death of Norman Pedersen who passed away in a house fire in Midgic, NB on Thursday, August 11, 2022.

Norm was not married, nor did he have any children.  He loved to drive so his occupation as a taxi driver in Amherst was a good fit. He was well liked and had many acquaintances.

Norman is survived by his sisters, Sylvia (Gaye) Maxwell (Fred) of Amherst, NS, Naiome Kahoot of Amherst, NS and Sharon Legere (Isaac) of Moncton, NB; his brothers, Pete Pedersen of Winnipeg, MB, John Pedersen of Alberta and Don Pedersen (Virginia) of Amherst, NS, as well as by several nieces and nephews.

He was pre-deceased by his mother and father, Ruby and Gus Pedersen, as well as by his brother, Gene Pedersen.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Erin Campbell and staff of Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville N.B. (506) 364-8188. The family will be having a visitation and wake at their home at 16 Dale Street, Amherst, NS on Friday, August 19, 2022 from 2-4 pm and his family and friends are invited to attend.
