Obituary of Charli Lorraine Morice

It is with saddened hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Charli Lorraine Morice, age 31, on Thursday, August 11, 2022.

Charli was born on October 1, 1990, with deep brown eyes that would turn blue the next day and later turning the perfect shade of hazel and a witch’s pearl that would later develop into the perfect smile. She lit up any room she entered with her spontaneous personality and brilliant conversation. She had a unique way of looking at things and always made the people around her feel her love.

Charli was a daughter to Dawn Morice and her step-father, Jimmy Troop; a mother to her sons, Jackson and Morgan and her daughters, Johnni and Naethyn; a sister to Jami Morice and Monti Morice (Nicholas Boyd); a wife to David “Stick” Saulnier; an aunt to Christopher, Haedyn, Marlee and Sadie; a step-sister to Maddison; a granddaughter to her Nanny, Cathy (Milner) Morice and her Papa, John Morice; as well as a niece to many and a friend to many more. She loved her family and friends with her whole heart. She proudly lived her life to the beat of her own drum and touched many hearts along the way.

Charli loved the color orange, reading, the fall and especially Halloween. She was an old soul with a sailor’s tongue and even in her darkest days, she found reason to brighten someone else’s day and to keep going.

As Charli left this world too soon, she will always be remembered and cherished for the love of her children, family, friends, and her true caring and compassionate nature.

Charli will be at peace now, watching over her children without interference as she wanted to in life.  And in classic Charli style, she would want you to know that “This too shall pass”.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Erin Campbell and staff of Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville N.B. (506) 364-8188. A graveside service will take place in the Midgic Cemetery at a later date with the details to be announced.

If so desired, donations in memory of Charli may be made to CARMA Sackville Chapter or your local CARMA Chapter, Autumn House in Amherst, NS or to the charity of one’s choice.
