It is with profound sadness that the family of Hailey Pierce announces her passing on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at the age of 13. Hailey passed away at the Moncton Hospital with her family by her side.

Born on May 9, 2008 in Moncton, N.B., Hailey was the daughter of Laura Leigh Ann Pierce and Duane Gary Smith.

Hailey was pre-deceased by her great-grandparents, Marion and Jack Pierce and Elmer and Doris MacDonald, as well as by Percy Blakely (Purple Barney).

Hailey was an amazing girl, full of life and was vibrantly colorful in all aspects of it. She enjoyed being physically active, being around horses and spending time with her grandparents and with her right-hand man and brother, Dexter. Hailey had a smile that was contagious, a laugh that was intoxicating and she loved to make people laugh.

The family wishes to send a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Bruno Chiasson at the Sackville Memorial Hospital Emergency Department and to the nurses of the Neuro Intensive Care Unit at the Moncton Hospital for their loving care and kindness.
