Obituary of Margaret Elizabeth Hanson

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Elizabeth Hanson (nee Fasquel), 82, of Sackville NB. Marg passed away suddenly at her home on March 21, 2022 after a brief illness.

Born and raised in Minto NB, she was the daughter of the late Ailliffe and Jules Fasquel.

Marg will be sadly missed by her husband of 63 years, Reginald Hanson; her children, Denise Hanson, Alan Hanson (Laurann) and Peter Hanson (Boryana), as well as by her grandchildren who she cherished dearly, Adam, Julia and Polina.

She was predeceased by her brother, Robert and is survived by her brother, Henry.

Marg ensured that she looked after everyone, especially Reg. She was known for being the best cook by all of the family and always had the neatest and tidiest house regardless of when you stopped for a visit. She had a great sense of humour and was never hesitant to speak her mind.

The family wishes to thank friends for their kindness and support.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Erin Campbell and staff of Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, N.B. (364-8188). Marg's Family invites you to join them in celebrating her life on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at 11:30 am at St. Paul's Anglican Church, Sackville. Following the service, a reception will be held in the church hall.
