Obituary of Alexander Frederick Zoellner

It is with deep sadness that the family of Alexander Zoellner announces his passing at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at the age of 69. Born in Ottawa, Ontario on October 5, 1951, he was the son of the late Dorothy Vivian (Goreham) and Edgar George Zoellner. Alex loved being outdoors, hunting, trapping and living in the country. He would always be there to help if he was needed and was a very giving person in life as well in as in death by being a donor. Alex will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 50 years, Julia Anne (Patterson) Zoellner; his children, Edgar (Shannon), Denise Manderson and Dorothy Zoellner; his sister, Sandra Sears; his grandchildren, Alexandria Zoellner (Todd), Destin Zoellner, Edward Zoellner, Zackery Zoellner, Davey MacDonald, Kassidy Zoellner, Tristan Manderson and Danika Manderson; great-grandchildren, Rylee, Ezra and Liam, as well as by many nieces , nephews, extended family and friends. Besides his parents, he was pre-deceased by his sister, Audrey Kenny. Arrangements have been entrusted to Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, N.B. (364-8188). A private family service will take place on Saturday, November 14, 2020, by invitation. A public graveside committal will take place on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at 3:45 pm at the Four Corners Cemetery with Rev. Lloyd Bruce officiating. All are welcome to attend the committal service. Please bring a face mask and follow social distancing guidelines while we are gathered together. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Alex may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
