Obituary of Rachel Alice Allen

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Rachel Alice Allen on Friday, October 9, 2020 at the Drew Nursing Home at the age of 73. Born in Port Elgin, NB on May 24, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Margaret (Cullen) and Wilbur Allen. Rachel was a resident at the Drew for the last 8 years and she enjoyed knitting and sewing. Rachel will be lovingly remembered by her brother, William W. Allen. Besides her parents, she was pre-deceased by her brother, Ernest Allen. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville N.B. (506) 364-8188. In keeping with Rachel’s wishes, a private graveside service will take place in the Fernwood Cemetery. If so desired, donations in memory of Rachel may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
