Obituary of Jurgen Weber

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jurgen Weber on Thursday, August 6, 2020 at the Sackville Memorial Hospital. Jurgen emigrated to Canada in 1972 and was employed at Four Seasons Hotel in Vancouver. He was a maître d' for many years and the rest of his career was spent with various airlines as a flight planning manager. In 2019, after retirement, he moved to New Brunswick to be with his dear friend and longtime sweetheart, Bernadette, and they were married on August the 6th, 2019. Jurgen was a quiet, thoughtful and caring person, with a passion for animals. He was also a great chef and enjoyed nothing better than preparing gourmet meals for his family and friends. He was a solitary man and enjoyed travelling with his wife Bernadette. Jurgen will be sadly missed by his wife, family and newfound friends here in the Maritimes. Heartfelt thanks to the palliative care nurses and staff of the Sackville Memorial Hospital. Jurgen was predeceased by his first wife, Victoria, as well as by his Dad and Mom. Arrangements have been entrusted to Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, N.B. (506) 364-8188. Honoring Jurgen’s wishes, a family gathering and celebration of his life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Jurgen may be made to his favorite charity, the SPCA.
