Carl was an employee of Irving Oil for over 35 years, one of the original firefighters at the Port Elgin Fire Department, as well as a member of Rotary, Masons and Town Council. He was a man who loved all creatures great and small. He was also known as a social butterfly who loved music, dancing, bowling, fishing and playing cards. Carl will be greatly missed by all of those who knew and loved him. Carl will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Susan Trenholm (Stephen Butler); his son, Calvin Trenholm; his grandsons, Shane (Valerie) Trenholm, Leigh Wood and Timothy (Tricia) Wood; his granddaughter, Meegan Wood (Peter Gagnon); his great-grandchildren, as well as by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. The family sends a special thank you to the staff of the Westford Nursing Home for their wonderful care and kindness shown to dad.
