I was very sorry to just hear of Roy's passing. I was a month younger than him and I remember him and Herb coming down from York Street School about Grade 4 to join us a Central School. I haven't seen him for many years but I often look at our Grade 6 class picture. He was tall and quiet and very nice and I recall him growing up across from my cousin Doug Crossman's house at the corner of Fairfield Road and Fairfield Cross Road, as we called them then. It was good to watch the video of photos of his life.

Kindest regards at this most difficult time. Roy, Herbert and I went to the Presbyterian Church when we were young. We had Mrs. Beale as a Sunday School teacher … and an English teacher at Sackville High. I am sure we could tell many tales from back in those years. Sincere condolences to all.
