Obituary of Jeffrey Wayne Smith

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Jeffrey Smith at his home on Friday, December 28, 2018 at the age of 55.

Born in Sackville, N.B. on May 12, 1963, he was the son of the late Leslie Charles and Violet Dorothy (Tower) Smith.

Jeffrey enjoyed fishing, being outdoors and loved to spend time with his family.

Jeffrey will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 21 years, Vickie Smith; his son, Tanar Sears; his daughter, Amber Smith; his granddaughter, Skylynn Smith; his nine sisters and four brothers; many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews, as well as by his best friend, his dog Chum. 

He was pre-deceased by his parents, as well as by his nephew, William Smith.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville N.B. (506) 364-8188. Visiting hours will take place at the funeral home on Monday, December 31, 2018 from 1 to 3 pm, followed immediately by the funeral service at 3 pm with Pastor Daniel Basham officiating. The burial will take place in the spring.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Jeffrey may be made to the family to help with service expenses. These donations may be given at the funeral home and a receipt will be provided.
