We want to extend our deepest sympathies to you all. We are so profoundly sorry for your loss. Brian was such a lovely person and had such a positive impact on us with every interaction we had. Adam has so many fond memories of his time spent with Brian as they were growing up, as well as their time at MTA together. I (Sarah) had met Brian many times over the years through Adam and always enjoyed our interactions - he was so even keeled, so kind, and funny. He was truly a kind soul.

Dearest Barb, Erin and Avery, our deepest condolences to you on Brian's passing. We as everyone else, we're so saddened to hear of his sudden passing. We remember Brian in his younger days going up and down Bridge Street on his skateboard, and later we would always know when he was home as we would see him go by in his Corvette. If we happened to run into him we always had a great chat and a few laughs. We will miss his beautiful smile and seeing him on the Street. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I had the honour of working with Brian at CNRL and we kept in touch and would do lunch all the time. I was one of many who were present for his Bar calling. Brian was a dear friend, a tremendous teammate and was one of the best people I’ve had the opportunity to meet. We became fast friends through MTA Rugby, and ended up living together at 77 York, which was one of the most memorable years in my life and a year I will always treasure. Brian was an old soul, a classic like those old cars and Hugo Boss suits he loved so much. The way he carried himself and treated others, showed his true character and is testament to his family and upbringing.
He loved his nicknames, a good story, and when you got to hear that deep booming laugh, well that was the best. I will miss him dearly.

I was saddened to read of Brian’s sudden passing. I cannot imagine the infinite grief and loss you must be feeling. It was not that long ago that you were telling me about his adventure into law at UNB and I had read recently about his involvement with the family business. These words of Kahil Gibran helped us through our grief and perhaps they will give you some comfort. "When you are sorrowful, look again in your heart and you shall see that in truth, you are weeping for that which has been your delight."

I'm very sorry to hear about the sudden passing of my friend Brian. We grew up in the same neighborhood and often hung out at the same places. We played played billiards at the pool hall when we were younger and always cruised around in cars. We attended the same university and talked on campus. On the weekends we had drinks at Duckys and The Pub. Brian always had a smile and fun. He was a polite guy with a good heart. Lots of people liked Brian. Lots of people call him a friend. Sorry I can't be there. He will truly be missed but forever remember with so many good stories of with friends and family.
