Obituary of Sheila Anne Snider
Snider, Sheila A. (1943 – 2018) – Sheila Snider of Moncton, passed away peacefully in the Palliative Care Unit at the Moncton Hospital on Saturday, February 3, 2018. Born in 1943, Sheila was the daughter of the late Hugh and Eleanor (Chapman) McMaster.
Sheila enjoyed knitting, crocheting and doing needle point. She donated hundreds of knit baby outfits to the Moncton Hospital for premature and newborn babies, and also donated numerous crocheted blankets in support of the LINUS project here in Moncton.
Sheila will be missed by her loving and caring husband of 54 years, Vernon Snider; her two sons, David Snider and Robert Snider (Audrey); her three grandchildren, Courtney, Danny and Steven; her niece, Tammy (McMaster) Doyle and by her nephews, Stephen and Graham Rossiter.
Sheila was predeceased by her brother, William (Bill) J. McMaster (2013).
A special thanks to the nurses and doctors in the Palliative Care and Rehabilitation Unit (Neurological) at the Moncton Hospital for their compassion and care.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, N.B. (506) 364-8188. The family will be holding a private ceremony with interment to take place at a later date in the Elmwood Cemetery.
