I'm sad to hear of the passing of uncle Dick. I have many great memories of family visits, and of course some farm work experiences. I still tell people one story that I will never forget. Aunt Daphna was driving the tractor and uncle Dick was walking backwards passing me a bail of hay on the wagon, his foot got stuck under the wheel and it took him down and started to drive over him. I am freaken out and hollering at aunt Daphna to stop the tracker, she couldn't hear me with ear plugs in, by the time she did she stop when the wheel was on his chest. Uncle Dick now started to hollering at aunt Daphna to keep going, poor aunt Daphna! The next day I come to work in full excitement wondering if Uncle Dick can even move, and there he comes walking out of the shed with just a small limp. You will be surely missed Uncle Dick! Thinking and praying for your family.
