Obituary of Daryl Faye Fillmore

Sackville, N.B.- It is with deep sadness that we must announce the passing of Daryl Faye Fillmore, at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at the age of 76.

Born in Moncton, N.B. on January 4, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Blanche (Smith) and Dorsey Grant.

Daryl will be lovingly remembered by her granddaughter, Danielle of British Columbia; her two great-granddaughters; her special friend, Angela Mundle and her family, as well as by her care-giver, April Strong.

Besides her parents, Daryl was pre-deceased by her husband of 39 years, Carman Fillmore in 2015 and by her son, Danny Atkinson in 1991.

A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Beatrice Milne, the Extra-Mural Nurses and Staff of the Sackville Memorial Hospital for their kindness and care over the years.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, N.B. (364-8188). In keeping with Daryl’s wishes, there will be no visiting hours or funeral service. Daryl will be buried in the Elmwood Cemetery in Moncton N.B.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Daryl may be made to the NB Lung Association or to the charity of one’s choice.
