Dear Barb and family, so sorry to hear of your mother's passing! I know she will be sorely missed by everyone! She was such a strong capable women up to her illness and I always enjoyed the chats we had in church! We know where she is now and is certainly not suffering from any illness! I missed her sitting in crutch on Sunday mornings...she had a real presence in the church! I am on the way back from Florida so unfortunately will not be able to attend the funeral! I hope all went well today! Many blessings to you all! My prayers are with you...Connie At f

I have shared with many people over the years the influence Winifred had on my life as a young girl in Sunday School and then in youth group. She has been part of my testimony. I have wonderful memories of her laughter, her teaching and the lady behind the wheel transporting us to so many events. She leaves a legacy. My love and support to all of you who will miss her so much - family, friends, and her church family.

We are saddened to hear of Winifred's passing. She brings so many memories back of my childhood. It seemed we were always in the back seat of her car, whether it was Sunday School picnics, youth group events near and far, our wonderful adventure to Acadia University in 1963 when we put on the production Mrs. Fenwick had written for our 200th anniversary. I spent a lot of time at the house and she was always busy in the kitchen and "Aunt Sadie" would be sitting by the stove talking non-stop! She is now with her Lord whom she followed so faithfully all her life.

We were saddened to hear of Winifred's passing but know that she is in a better place. She was a pillar in our community & church & leaves many special memories in our hearts. Tasha always said that she was her favourite SS teacher & it was with her guidance that Tasha accepted the Lord. May God bless you all as you treasure your memories. Dot & Rod

I was saddened to hear of Winnifred's passing. I have many fond memories of the Brooks families during my time as a boarder at Ruth's-Winnifred's laughter and smiles always added to the bustle when she and Alice and maybe Myrtle too, dropped across the lane for a visit. Good times and people fondly remembered for sure! Take care.

Charlotte & David and the Brooks Family
As you journey through this time of loss and grief may there be tears and laughter as you recall the memories and love you shared with your Mother. Even when someone has gradually declined and passed gently from this life into the next our grief is deeply profound because we have been touched deeply by a gift of love. The gifts of love and the memories you are cherishing can be a source of strength and encouragement - hold on to these precious gifts and celebrate her life with laughter, tears, moments of silence - all of which are expressions of gratitude and thanks to God for the gift of your Mother's life and light.
Please know that the spirit of love and comfort is holding you and that your friends from West Side United offer you our support, comfort and love.
Blessings of Love and Peace

Barb, Wallace, Charlotte, and families ... my deepest condolences on the loss of your Mum. I have such fond memories of Winnifred, from early childhood and on. I always enjoyed chatting with her after I moved back home to Sackville, and was saddened to watch her decline in the past couple years. She is now at peace. May your memories of the good times offset this time of sorrow.

I am sorry for your loss; for the loss of all who met and loved Winifed. She will be sorely missed.
Winifred holds a special place in my heart because she always had time for a chat, a smile, a hug which always lifted my spirits, especially when I arrived in Maritime Canada as a foreigner and stranger. I could always count on Winifred's warmth and welcome.
Like us all, we carry wonderful memories. One of Winifred's wonderful quilts adorns my guest bed, a true treasure.

My condolences to the family on the loss of a truly wonderful woman. Winifred was a mentor to many of us here in Sackville. We will remember her kindness, her laugh, her willingness to help and to be there to guide us, and most of all her strong belief and her strength. She taught us all so much.
We all have so many wonderful memories to cherish. You are all such a wonderful family. I have many happy memories of Winifred at our church and of visits to your home.
Take good care. Love and hugs.

Dear Charlotte, Dear Dave and family of Winifred Brooks
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of your loss. May you find comfort in the memories of your times together and knowing that your mother Winifred was blessed with a long life of dedication, faith and family.
We are thinking of you and oh yes we empathize and understand having a parent who experienced the depression years will give you lots to disburse for recycling and the church bizarre,
Sincerely

I visited with your Mom when I had the ladies at the Middle Sackville Baptist Church quilt a few quilts for me a few years ago. I would drop things off with your Mom and we always had great visits. I really enjoyed talking with her, she had such wonderful stories to share. Her sense of humour was priceless. Both Ian and I are saddened to hear this news and would like to extend our sympathies to the family.
