Obituary of Beatrice Maude Fillmore
Midgic, N.B.- It is with deep sadness that the family of Beatrice (Estabrooks) Fillmore announces her passing on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at the Moncton Hospital with her loving family by her side. Beatrice was 85 years of age.
Born in Midgic, N.B. on June 6, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Therese Maude Estabrooks and Hedley Sam Estabrooks.
Beatrice was a loving mother and homemaker and enjoyed cooking for her family. She especially loved all of her grandchildren.
Beatrice will be lovingly remembered by her three daughters, Sally Wells (Tony Cormier) of Sackville, N.B., Sharon Marie (David) Cormier of Amherst, N.S. and Betty Lowerison of Sackville, N.B.; her seven grandchildren, Farrah Carter, Owen Carter, Kerry Wells, Travis Wells, Justin Cormier, Samantha Cormier and Matt Cormier; her great-grandchildren and by her good friends, Linda and Leaman Throop.
Besides her parents, Beatrice was pre-deceased by her son, Marven Andrew Fillmore; her brothers, Johnny Estabrooks, Homer Estabrooks and Whitney Estabrooks and by her sister, Aleta Estabrooks.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, N.B. (364-8188). In keeping with Beatrice’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Beatrice may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of one’s choice.
