Condolences to David & family,Harriet was a special person who always brought a smile to my face whenever we met. I worked with Harriet at Sackville Post Office for a few years. I believe she took my position when I transferred to Moncton . I came back years later and worked with Harriet again until I retired. She was always smiling and laughing and made working with her a pleasure. I know she truly loved her family and will certainly be missed by everyone who was fortunate enough to know her. RIP Harriet

It is with deep sadness that I read this memorial for Harriett. She was such a wonderful lady. I loved it when I met up with her downtown, we always had great chats about our families. She was so very proud of her family. She LOVED her farm and would often talk about her baby calves. She always had such a wonderful smile and such a positive attitude. I know you will all miss her deeply.

Harriett was my favorite neighbour as a child. Such a nice lady, always a big smile for everyone and always the best stop on our Halloween route. She will be sadly missed! :`-(
I would like to give my condolences to her family and friends, to lose such a great woman is the hardest. But I would like to think that she is now watching over the ones she loved dearly. And I was very lucky to have had the chance to meet a wonderful lady.

Cheryl, Beverly,Allison and Nicole,
I know right now your heart is aching with the loss of your mother and grandmother but know that she touched many lives during her life's journey; including mine. It has been a few years since I've taught any of the girls but no matter when or where we met she always had a smile, a warm welcome and a hug for me.
Throughout Nicole's, Allison's and Beverly's years here at Port Elgin Regional, Harriett helped with the activities whenever possible. I especially remember when she helped out during swimming in Grade 4. And Beverly, you will remember her reaction to that fudge recipe I shared.
She has left so many memories behind for you and your family....those memories will help to heal you heart.
I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers....may the Good Lord send His angels to stand watch and comfort you while you grieve.
