Obituary of Marven Andrew Fillmore

Little Forks, N.S.- It is with deep sadness that the family of Marven A. Fillmore announces his passing on January 31, 2016 at his home in Little Forks, N.S. Marven was 62 years of age. Born in Sackville, N.B. on June 29, 1953 he was the son of Beatrice Maude (Estabrooks) and the late Leonard Stanley Fillmore. Marven enjoyed hunting, fishing, being outdoors and liked to visit Midgic as often as he could. He also had a great love for his dog and cats. Marven will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Beatrice (Estabrooks) Fillmore of Midgic, N.B.; his three sisters, Betty Lowerison of Sackville, N.B., Sally (Tony) Wells of Sackville, N.B. and Sharon (David) Cormier of Amherst, N.S. as well as by several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his father, Leonard Fillmore and by an infant brother, Stanley Eric Fillmore. Arrangements have been entrusted to Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, N.B. (364-8188). In keeping with Marven’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Marven may be made to the Lillian Allbon Animal Shelter in Cumberland County, N.S., the Midgic Cemetery or to the charity of one’s choice.
