Obituary of Marilyn Mary (Cresine) Landry
Point de Bute, N.B.- Our loving mother, Marilyn Mary Landry, passed away on October 25, 2015 at home, after a heroic fight with cancer.
Born on March 1, 1949 in Amherst, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of the late James Cresine and Norma Landry.
Marilyn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Although she became so tiny and frail, she gave us all such courage and hope and reminded us of how precious life is. Anyone who knew Marilyn knew how she enjoyed time in her garden, watching her soap operas, "The Bold and the Beautiful” and “The Young and The Restless" and spending time with her bingo family.
Marilyn is survived by her loving sons, Robert (Lisa) of Moncton, David (Christine) of Point De Bute and Michael (Ethan) of Moncton. She will be forever loved by her seven grandchildren, Melissa, Jessica, Natasha, Celena, Nicole, Kyle and Sarah. Her memories will be shared with her nine great- grandchildren, Shirley, Deyshaun, Timothy, Evelyn, James, Brittany, Dante, Dakota and DJ. Marilyn's loving touch will be missed by her grand fur babies, Boots and Lucky. She will also be forever remembered by her brothers and sisters, Layton, Diane, Elaine, Gerald, David and Tammy; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and dear friends.
Marilyn was pre-deceased by her loving husband, Albert Landry in 2012 and by her sister, Clara Ann.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville (364-8188). In keeping with Marilyn's wishes, cremation without ceremony has taken place. Donations in Marilyn's memory can be made to the Breast Cancer Foundation or charity of choice.
