Obituary of Norman Eric Weldon

It is with great sadness that the family of Eric Weldon, announce his passing at the Sackville Memorial Hospital, with his loving wife by his side, on Friday, October 11, following a lengthy illness. Eric was 64 years of age. Born on December 11, 1948 in Moncton, N.B. he was the son of the late Dr. Norman Weldon and Mary (Campbell) Weldon. Eric will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his wife of 26 years, Donna (Estabrooks) Weldon; two daughters, Tricia (Anthony) Voutour of Sackville, N.B.; Cheryl Phinney (Anthony Johnson) of Sackville, N.B. and by his very special grandson, Andrew Johnson of Sackville, N.B.; brother, Stuart (Irene) Weldon of Sackville, N.B. and by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Arrangements have been entrusted to Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, N.B. (364-8188). In keeping with Eric’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visiting hours or funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Eric may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Alzheimer’s Society or to the charity of one’s choice.
