Obituary of Margaret Catherine Bunker

Margaret Catherine Bunker passed away peacefully at the Drew Nursing Home in Sackville, on Friday, November 7th, 2014. She was in her 99th year. Born in Halifax, N.S. on September 10, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Effie (Anderson) and Thomas Goudge. Margaret moved to Sackville from Montreal in 1986 and became an active member in the community. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Margaret will be lovingly remembered by her two daughters, Kathy (Harold) Popma and Anne (Vern) Denholm as well as by her four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Norman Stanley Bunker in 2006 and by her two brothers, Frank and Thomas Goudge. Arrangements have been entrusted to Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, N.B. (364-8188). A time of visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, November 9, 2014 from 2-3 pm. A private family service will take place at a later time, followed by burial in the Sackville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Margaret may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
