Obituary of Doris Marie Phinney
Sackville, N.B.- It is with great sadness that the family of Doris M. (Cormier) Phinney, announce her passing, at the age of 62 years.
Born in Sackville, N.B. on May 1, 1945, Doris was the daughter of the late Alphonse and Rita (Brine) Cormier.
Doris was a devoted Christian and had great faith in her Lord. She was a very independent woman and will remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
She will be sadly missed by her three children, Roxanne (Bob) Vandewater of Sutton, Ontario, Kevin Thomas Phinney of Aulac, N.B. and Deborah (Kenneth Burbine) Phinney of Sackville, N.B.; two sisters and one brother, Anne (Arthur) Hubert of Sackville, N.B., Henry (Pat) Cormier of Sackville, N.B. and Rose (Rick) Dauvin of Sackville, N.B.; three grandchildren Jesse, Melanie and Joshua; one great-grandson, Braden; former spouse Thomas Phinney of Toronto, Ontario and many nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are entrusted to Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, N.B. (364-8188). Visitation will take place at the funeral home from 10:00 am until the time of the memorial service at 11:00 am, on Friday, April 18, 2008. Pastor Daniel Barrett will officiate. A time of reception for family and friends will take place at the funeral home following the service. Burial will take place at a later date in the Holy Rosary Cemetery.
