Obituary of Brenda June Henderson
Sackville, N.B.- It is with deep sadness that the family of Brenda June Henderson announces her passing on Sunday, March 29, 2015 at the Sackville Memorial Hospital. Brenda passed peacefully with her loving family at her side, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Sackville, N.B. on December 15, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Russel and Gladys (Manning) Babcock.

Brenda will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Sarah (Chris) Allen of Fredericton, N.B.; Jessica Skinner (Glen) of Riverview, N.B. and Tamara Henderson of Vancouver, BC; her son, Christopher (Sherrie) Henderson of Wolfville, N.S.; her special grandson, Caleb Skinner of Sackville, N.B.; her sisters, Peggy Attis of Moncton, N.B. and Elizabeth “Liz” (Louis) Breau of Grand Bay, N.B. ; grandson, Parker Allen and by many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Brenda was pre-deceased by her sister, Joyce Stone and by her two brothers-in-law, Morty Attis and George Stone.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, N.B. (506) 364-8188. In keeping with Brenda’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visiting hours. A gathering to celebrate Brenda’s life will take place at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at 6:30 pm with Rev. Catherine Smith officiating. A reception will take place at the funeral home following the service. The burial will take place in the summer in the Dorchester Pioneer Cemetery with details to be announced.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Brenda may be made to a trust fund at the Scotia Bank, Sackville, N.B. Donations will go to her grandsons future education.
