Obituary of Connie Ward
Aulac, N.B.- It is with deep sadness that the family of Connie Gail Ward announces her passing on Sunday, May 15, 2016 at the Moncton Hospital. Connie passed away peacefully at the age of 63, with her loving family by her side.
Born on April 10, 1953 in Sackville, N.B. she was the daughter of the late Pauline Lulu (Wheaton) and Bernard Gaunt Phinney.
Connie loved camping and travelling to Bangor and the USA to go shopping and to Cuba for vacation. She especially loved spending time with her family, was a people person and was always the comedian with a great sense of humor.
Connie will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 14 years, Les Edgar; three daughters, Rachael (Edward) Demont of Salisbury, N.B., Susan Ward of Ontario and Joanne Robertson of Alberta; son, Clint (Krissy) Edgar of Salisbury, N.B.; two sisters, Carol Noiles and Kathleen (Robert) Kenny; three brothers, Gerald (Dorothy) Phinney, Elmer (Betty Lee) Phinney and Ivan (Darlene) Phinney; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and by many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was pre-deceased by two grandsons.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, N.B. (506) 364-8188. A graveside service will take place on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at 2 pm at the Midgic Cemetery with Pastor Hal Lowther officiating. Family and friends are invited to attend. Following the service, a reception will take place at the Midgic Baptist Church.
If so desired, donations in memory of Connie may be made to the Midgic Cemetery or to the charity of one’s choice.
