Les and the entire Phinney family, we were so sorry to hear of Connie's passing. We will miss her at the beach this summer. She was such a great person and very funny without even trying. Connie was always there for everyone, whether it was to borrow something you forgot to bring to the beach, or to watch your dog, just ask Connie. We are deeply saddened by the loss of Connie Ward, she was a great lady. Connie was a second mom to Peter and I when we lived with her during our university years. Connie always made her home welcoming to us. When we got married she travelled down to Halifax for the wedding and told me it was about time and that she wouldn't miss it for the world . If I was homesick she would always be like a mother hen with me. Connie will always have a special spot in our lives and in our hearts, she will be deeply missed and loved.
