Obituary of Frank Joseph LeBlanc

It is with profound sadness that the family of Frank Joseph LeBlanc, age 83, announce his passing on Friday, January 12, 2024 at the Moncton Hospital. Frank passed away peacefully with his family by his side, following a short battle with cancer.

 

Born on August 17, 1940 in Cap-Pele, NB he was the son of the late Antoine LeBlanc and Minnie Doiron. 

 

Frank was a truck driver for John P. Baughan Co-Op Ltd for over 38 years. He was a devoted father, husband and was affectionately known as “Bubba” to his grandson Liam. He loved to laugh, joke around and enjoyed telling stories, reminiscing and socializing with his friend group at Tim Hortons and McDonalds. Frank loved animals and feeding his many birds. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

 

Frank will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 57 years, Patricia Gayle (Hopkins) LeBlanc; his daughter, Wendy Price (Kevin); his son, Michael LeBlanc (Mandi); his siblings, Obleline Villa (Late Tony). Albina Cook (late Fred), Rita Craig (Rod) and Andrew LeBlanc (late Jeannine); his grandson, Liam Price, as well as by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

 

Besides his parents, he was pre-deceased by his siblings, Fidel LeBlanc (Violet) (Shirley), Ben LeBlanc (late Barb), Doris MacDonald (late Ian), Levi LeBlanc (Charlene) and Marceline Cook (Lawrence).

 

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Erin Campbell and staff of Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville N.B. (506) 364-8188. In keeping with Franks wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visiting hours or funeral service.

 

If so desired, donations in memory of Frank may be made to CARMA Sackville Chapter, PAW (Moncton) or to the charity of one’s choice.
